The Type 002 aircraft carrier Shandong of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy is the first domestically produced aircraft carrier equipped by the Chinese Navy.It was launched on April 26, 2017. After a series of tests and training, it officially joined the People’s Navy on December 17, 2019. Its hull number is “17”.
